How it works
At Neurotypes, we currently offer autism assessments for children aged 8 and above, as well as adults.
We are also planning to expand our services to include ADHD assessments and post-diagnostic coaching in the near future.
Referral Process
Referrals can be made by parents, caregivers, or professionals. Our waiting list is minimal, allowing for prompt assessment scheduling. Currently, our services are self-pay only.
Assessment Process
Once a referral is received, clients are sent pre-assessment questionnaires, including requests for school information for school-aged children. This information helps us prepare for the assessment and gather a comprehensive developmental picture.
Clients are then scheduled for two virtual assessment sessions:
A direct observational assessment, and a developmental history session, conducted using gold-standard assessment tools in line with NICE guidelines.
A multidisciplinary team is involved in each assessment.
Feedback and Reporting
After the assessment, a feedback session is offered to discuss the results, recommendations, and next steps. A detailed report is then provided for your records and future planning.
